Who each plan is for
All three monthly plans draw on the same route pool and the same clients; only the monthly data allowance differs. Estimate roughly how much you use in a month and pick a tier with a little headroom — that beats watching your remaining data at the end of every month.
60GB tier: light everyday use
¥9.9 per month for 60GB of data. This tier covers browsing, email, document and cloud-drive sync, and AI tool queries — work that is mostly text and light images. The limit here is the data itself: if you watch 4K streaming for hours every day, download installers often or move large files around, 60GB will go quickly. Data resets each month on your activation date — activate on the 5th and your allowance returns to full on the 5th of every following month, not on the 1st. Keep that in mind when you estimate what's left at the start or end of a month. There's no device limit, so your phone, laptop and tablet can all be online at once.
250GB tier: steady daily use
¥18 per month for 250GB of data. This tier widens the allowance enough for people who need cross-border access every day: switching between a development environment, code hosting and AI tools during the day, an hour or two of video in the evening, and a few larger file transfers at the weekend. Compared with the 60GB tier, what it removes is the end-of-month squeeze — no more changing how you work just to save data. Data also resets each month on your activation date, and with no device limit a single subscription can run on your laptop, phone and tablet at the same time.
500GB tier: shared use and heavy data
¥28 per month for 500GB of data, the largest allowance of the three. It suits two kinds of user: people sharing one account across several devices — a few at home plus the desktop in the office, all online at once — and people who run long 4K streaming sessions or upload and download large assets. Because there's no device limit, one subscription covers all your everyday devices; you don't buy a separate plan per machine. Data resets each month on your activation date, and if you move up from a lower tier mid-cycle the price difference is prorated by the remaining days, with the exact amount shown on the order page.
Data packs or monthly plans?
Monthly plans bill by the month and reset data on your activation date, which suits a steady, long-term rhythm. Data packs aren't time-based: you buy a set amount, use it until it runs out, and it never expires — the remainder doesn't vanish at the end of the month. That fits irregular usage, such as a few concentrated days a month or a one-off batch of large files, and it's also a way to top up when you already have a monthly plan and the current month's allowance is running tight.
The trade-off is straightforward: if you use the service every month, a monthly plan gives you a steadier unit price; if you use it in bursts, a data pack won't expire while it sits idle. The three packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB — the larger the allowance, the lower the unit price. You can start with the smallest and top up when it runs out.
